CitationIn Hinduism and Indian mythology Krishna is the eighth avatar or reincarnation of the god Vishnu. Also Krishna is one of the most popular Hindu gods. Tradition holds that Krishna saw Vishnu in a vision in which the former deity told Krishna to destroy Kamsa son of a demon, a tyrannical ruler of the world. Krishna's mother, Devaki, was Kamsa's half-sister. Kamsa already killed her first six sons because he had been told one of her sons would kill him. Krishna' brother, Devaki's seventh child, Balarama was miraculously saved by Vishnu.

Krishna was also saved when exchanged by his parents for the daughter of a herdsman Nanda and his wife Yasoda (the daughter was also a divine being, an incarnation of Maya). With his foster parents Krishna spent a happy life playing boyish pranks and seducing the gopis (cow girls) and other rustic maidens. They found his flute playing irresistible. Legend has it he may have had 16,000 wives. But his favorite was Radha, daughter of his foster father, and his childhood lover, although they did not marry.

According to legend Krishna was not only divine, but heroic as well. He is alleged to have defeated numerous dragons and monsters, and eventually as predicted, killed his half-uncle the tyrannical king Kamsa.

CitationGameplay "SPOILERS" now.

While it's very similar to 4 gameplay-wise, they tweaked a lot of things usually in the right direction:
+ You can rearrange skills
+ Smirk better implemented. This deserves more details because it's far from being just a gimminck now.
* Some attacks gain new properties during smirk (debuff/insta death...)
* Smirk doesn't disappear when you don't perform an attack action (buff/debuff, pass, charge/concentrate...)
* You do no longer gain an absurd dodge ability during smirk
* You always gain a press turn during smirk even if say perform a bufu against an enemy who isn't weak to ice attacks. It's as if magic attacks gain the ability to do 100% critical damage.

+ Many improvement in the fusion system:
* they brought back the possibility to pick up the demons you want to fuse.
* Compendium completion % is back!
* You can boost accident % via appli points
* more filter options

+ You can choose hard difficulty level from the start (that's what I took)

+ Skill restrictions: every demon now has affinities toward some attack types. The affinities give bonus or penalty. Jack Frost has for example +4 bonus for ice attacks and -5 penalty for fire attacks. Affinity is there to discourage you from making fire breathing Jack Frost because it would make no sense. It gives demons more personality and distinction from each other instead of everything being skills containers with a different coating like 4.

+ HP/MP distribution seems to be more varied. There seems to be more constitutions than the 3 types in 4 (high HP low MP, low HP high MP, balanced which were identical between all the demons in the same category).

+ The new demon design isn't Kaneko but is an order of magnitude better than the abominations we got in 4. Thank god!

+ The music. I can't say this enough but if you thought there was now way to make better themes than 4's, you're gonna surprised. The atmosphere is just phenominal right from the beginning. There are some reused music, brilliant remixes and excellent new themes.

+ Partners are useful now. They level up and no longer perform stupid actions that give the enemy an advantage. You can freely select the one who participates in battles.

+ Dungeons seem to be more important and more complex but it's still too early to confirm that.

La map du donjon final pour donner une idée:

Et les démons dessiné par d'autres artistes ont soit été refaits soit ont disparus.

Bref, plus qu'à trouver le site de préco (j'imagine PlayAsia pour faire un pack et prendre les books si y a).
