New Armored Core Game Currently in Development, Hidetaka Miyazaki Confirms

If you're a fan of the Armored Core series, then it's time to start getting your hopes up. Today DualShockers had a chat with From Software President Hidetaka Miyazaki, and he had news to share on the future of the franchise.

Miyazaki-san revealed that a new Armored Core game is currently in development at the studio.

He declined to reveal any frther information about the game, so we don't know when it'll be revealed or the platforms it'll run on, but at least now we know that it's coming.

C'est plus un jeu d'action très scénarisé en mode pimp my mech. Enfin dans mon souvenir je crois pas avoir fait d'autres ep que sur Playstation.

Du genre de Mechwarriors ?

Beaucoup plus rapide et nerveux (et plus de customisation aussi il me semble), alors que dans Mechwarrior t'as vraiment cette sensation de piloter un tank lourd et massif.

Bah à la limite, c'est plus mechwarrior qui fait penser à Dark Souls, et Armored core à Bayonetta

I asked if they were making a new Armored Core to which he replied, "We are making a new Armored Core. We are still in the early stages of development." I asked how early, and Miyazaki replied, "I can't talk about how early it is."

The most recent Armored Core console title, Armored Core: Verdict Day, was released in 2013.
