Je tente une nouvelle semaine sans Google (définitivement je les hais avec le récent Mobilegedon). Là j'ai choisi DuckDuckGo. Je donnerai peut-être sa chance à Qwant (qu'est français) plus tard. Mes tous récents tests étaient de gros échecs. Google est toujours extrêmement pertinent, pointu et exhaustif. C'est vraiment dur de s'en passer.

Je suis passé définitivement à DuckDuckGo, j'ai coupé les ponts avec les services Google. Pas de soucis pour moi. Satisfait par DuckDuckGo. Qwant à l'air sympa de ce que j'ai vu, mais vu que je suis bien chez DDG, j'y reste pour l'instant.

Déjà ça commence mal, aucune option dans la recherche d'image. J'ai besoin d'une photo précise en grande taille et je n'ai aucun moyen de spécifier la taille, la couleur, l'ancienneté... ce qui rend très difficile ma tache.

Yeap DDG est bon.
Il faut prendre en compte que la pertinence des réponses de google est du a leur données te concernant.
Du coup, si tu veux moins d'intrusion tu  as forcement des compromis a faire.

Oui, c'est peut être le seul truc qui marche moins bien.

Putain ça y est, Google maps force la nouvelle version avec cette fois aucun moyen de revenir en arrière :lourd:

Incompréhensible tellement l'ancienne version est BEAUCOUP plus légère et largement plus claire. Je suis à la limite du freeze a chaque fois sur la nouvelle version ...

Google désormais rachète des brevets :

We're announcing the Patent Purchase Promotion as an experiment to remove friction from the patent market. We anticipate everyone we transact with getting paid by late August.

By simplifying the process and having a concentrated submission window, we can focus our efforts into quickly evaluating patent assets and getting responses back to potential sellers quickly. Hopefully this will translate into better experiences for sellers, and remove the complications of working with entities such as patent trolls.

The technology that Google is proposing is a hybrid contraption that integrates the spacebar with the trackpad on a laptop, or on a tablet keyboard. Essentially, the trackpad would extend into the space where the spacebar would usually be, and "a top portion of the trackpad may be profiled to simulate a shape of the spacebar".

Je me demande réellement si c'est efficace à l'usage.
